| You probably know us as the creators of Elfquest, and many of our listings are for related books and products. But we've also been collectors for many years, and from time to time we bid farewell to some treasures.Now for something completely different. On August 21, 2017, Wendy and Richard Pini were in Oregon to view the total solar eclipse. As a fun way to commemorate that adventure, Richard created a few envelopes, using artwork from Elfquest (Leetah expressing her earlier fear of eclipses) as well as the USPS thermographic Solar Eclipse stamp, which he mailed on the way back to the airport in Portland, Oregon. The canceled covers made their way back to Elfquest Central in Poughkeepsie, New York. |
