| This is a rare oddity. A proposed Elfquest direct to video series based on the original Quest was advertised. In a day before Kickstarter existed money was group funded to produce a cutting edge adaption of Elfquest using state of the art computer animation and special effects. In reality the hype did not live up to the promises and in fact this video likely only exists to avoid the company being sued for fraud. It was far behind advertised production date and many fans that "subscribed" to the video series started to pressure and question where the video was. The finished product was little more than shots of panels of the comic book with actors performing the voices of the characters and a few flashes of color and cut outs of characters moving stiffly. This VHS is very rare however a DVD copy was also offered by the Wolfrider Shop later for the curious. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
