| Heritage Signature Auction catalog, February 10, 2005, Dallas, Texas. In 2005 the Pinis commissioned Heritage Auction Company to sell a large number of original artworks. The collection included Wendy's pre-ElfQuest work, ElfQuest art and comic covers, paintings, work done for other comic titles, "Nightwatch" a 1975 painting by Richard Pini, and work by other artists that were owned by the Pini's. The catalog features the 1986 oil painting of Timmorn Yellow Eyes used on the cover of the first Blood of Ten Chiefs anthology. The cover also includes black printed signatures from Wendy and Richard Pini. This book is often sold as "autographed" however, the signatures are not originals unless there happens to be a second set. |
